1 Plane, 2 Trains, 1 Ferry, and 38 Flights of Stairs
Ancient Italian Adage
Don't judge a journey by the first piece of pizza
- Cicero, probably
It's a good thing this is a totally real quote because this is how our journey started:

Thankfully we did not give up after this set back. After a few celebratory drinks, we boarded our flight.
We took advantage our the Dreamliner amenities, imbimbing the finest wine (some sort of cab sauv), food (chicken and rice), and entertainment available:

Arriving in Rome, we hopped on a train and enjoyed our first cups of cappuccinos and cornettos at Termini Station. We then took the high speed rail down to Salerno. A lovely ferry ride with a round of Peroni and some lovely views of the coastline we finally made it Positano.

The leg of our journey lay before us. THe equivalent of 38 flights to stairs up to our house through the meandering streets/paths of Positano. I will readily admit, it was much worse than I anticipated. But we ultimately made it up to our beautiful home.

We capped the day off with some pizza and pasta at a restaurant nearby.
